The cable car to the top of Table Mountain is close by, or head to the V&A Waterfront and take a ferry cross to Robben Island.
To get a real feel of Cape Town, township tours can be organised, and to see some of the Cape’s natural beauty, a tour of the peninsula. Both Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are easily reached from here, for a wine tour or two, and you can add whale watching on top.
