The cognoscenti and intrepid have been heading for the Swedish slopes for years. And for good reason. The country offers some of Europe’s finest off piste skiing. There are over 200 ski areas, and the season is one of the longest in the world – from November through till June in some resorts, when the days never end and you can ski under the midnight sun.
Uncrowded and beautifully groomed slopes, stunning wilderness scenery, and an exciting culinary scene, expect an entirely different experience from the Alps. Resorts are smaller, family friendly, and all come with state of the art lifts.
