Morzine

F&P Guide to Morzine!

Morzine is a traditional and charming Savoyard village, especially popular with families. In the heart of the Portes du Soleil, the village has instant access to the higher altitude resort of Avoriaz, with the lift pass covering a further ten resorts in both countries.

From the wooden chalets of Morzine to the modern architecture of its sister resort higher up, from gentle tree lined tracks to steep mogul fields, and plenty of cosy mountain restaurants serving traditional Savoyard dishes along the way, there’s little wonder it’s one of the region’s favourite ski areas. The village also boasts a fabulous range of activities for non-skiers, as well as easy access to many of the mountain restaurants, where you’ll find some of the most beautiful Alpine panoramas there are.
