With a temperature that rarely drops below the mid 20s, incredible beaches, a vibrant nightlife and an UNESCO World Heritage listed capital, Barbados is one of the Caribbean’s most glamorous destinations. You’re never far from a beach side shack serving spicy Bajan dishes, and at the other end of the scale, the island is not short of fine dining restaurants.
Away from the soft sand beaches, the interior is full of lanes criss-crossing the island, past large colonial houses, botanical gardens exploding with colour and a fair few rum shops. Some of the Caribbean’s most luxurious hotels are found on Barbados, where you’re sure of a warm welcome.
