Björkliden

At the gateway to Swedish Lapland, Björkliden is 250km north of the Arctic Circle. A true winter wonderland, it’s not just the skiing that attracts visitors, but dog sledding, snowmobiling and trips to one of the country’s longest cave systems. The season runs from February to May, with guaranteed snow and a lot of powder. The surrounding landscape is breathtakingly beautiful, with the high peak of Kappastjaro and the vast frozen Lake Torneträsk that stretches for 70km.
