Home to ancient civilisations, a large percentage of the planet’s biodiversity, vibrant cities and sun-drenched beaches, Central America promises endless possibilities for every kind of traveller. The volcanic Sierra Madre runs through the middle, with the Pacific and Caribbean on either side – all home to an incredible range of flora and fauna and a fabulous array of cultures.
From Mayan ruins to cerulean beaches, from coral reefs to tropical rainforest, and colourful colonial architecture along the way, each country reveals its intriguing history and treasures in exceptionally large doses. And to top it all, there’s warm, tropical weather all year round.
