This cross border family friendly ski resort enjoys both sunny south facing slopes on the French side, and snow sure slopes in its sister resort, La Thuile, on the north facing Italian side. Set in the heart of the Haute Tarentaise region of the Alps, its traditional chalets, dotted about on the slopes and in the woods, give it an authentic and rustic Savoyard charm.
La Rosière is a peaceful resort, with the focus very much on time spent on the mountain, then with the family at the end of the day. It has something for everyone, with snow and board cross tracks and heli skiing, to an abundance of facilities for non-skiers.
