In winter, go dog sledding or snowmobiling through the forests in search of the Northern Lights and Father Christmas; ice fish on frozen lakes, or visit a local Sámi village and dip into their culture. As the days become lighter, the ski resorts offer incredible back country skiing, then in summer, enjoy the midnight sun and the huge array of activities you’ll find in this region. Fell hiking, mountain biking, lake swimming, horse riding and foraging will fill your days.
