Selman – Marrakech, Morocco

Selman – Marrakech, Morocco

Quite possibly one of the most luxurious places to stay in Marrakech, Selman is an Arab Moorish palace style haven in 15 acres of gardens and date palms. It has wildly romantic views of the snowcapped peaks of the Atlas Mountains, and an enviably long pool running the length its key-hole arch fringed courtyard. Interiors are splendidly ornate with typical Moroccan styling and bold, contemporary touches – vast chandeliers, monochrome tiling, and silk and velvet furnishings.

Outside, the gardens are immaculately tended, and there’s even a private stable of Arab horses. It’s a decadent and opulent oasis and the place to stay away from the bustle and heat of the Medina, and perfectly placed for heading to the mountains or desert.
