IKOS Porto Petro – Mallorca
Nestled in a little cove with dreamy views out over azure waters and vivid green rocky outcrops, IKOS Porto Petro has brought the high-end, no stone unturned all inclusive offering that this brand is renowned for, to Mallorca. Along with five pools and palm fringed terraces, it has its own picturesque sandy beach and a team whose sole purpose is to make you forget the every day, switch off and enjoy a week, or longer, of luxurious downtime.
It’s an idyllic spot for couples looking to do very little, as well as families after a bit of me time. Take advantage of your free car for the day to explore the delights of the island, or sign up for one of the myriad activities on offer. Alternatively, find a parasol on the beach and just gaze out to sea. The beach bar is only a few steps away.

food
One of the elements that sets the IKOS brand apart is their superb food offering. Everything is included at each of the five à la carte resort restaurants, and at a selection of local restaurants. Menus are designed by Michelin-starred chefs and accompanied by a very fine wine list. Choose from innovative Spanish cuisine to French, Mediterranean and Asian. The Dine Out programme allows you to sample authentic Mallorcan cuisine, just a stone’s throw from the resort.
activities
This is another area where the all inclusive side to IKOS raises the game. Your stay includes a complimentary Mini Countryman for one day, and a culture pass to get you into a host of museums and attractions. Explore the stunning island of Mallorca, from the hidden coves along the coast, to pretty market towns, or the dramatic Tramuntana mountains. And in resort, there’s no shortage of things to keep you occupied.
From the beach there’s paddle boarding, kayaking and a fleet of pedalos for exploring the coves; there are tennis and padel courts and a range of fitness classes throughout the day. Be pampered in the very relaxing Spa, then get your dancing shoes out in the evening for live music and a show.
family
Whatever age your children are, they are expertly catered for, making this an exceptionally family friendly resort. Indeed, many families choose to return year after year. The crèche, for children aged six months to four is a nurturing place with sensory activities and wonderful staff. All the equipment parents need is available too. Older children up to 12 have a host of organised activities at the Heroes Kids Club, from sport to theatrical and arts and crafts. And younger guests up to 17 have their own rich programme of activities and events.
sustainability
Each resort in the IKOS brand is powered by 100% renewable energy, there are no single use plastics and there are stringent waste management initiatives in place. Porto Petro works closely with the local community, with the Dine Out programme a major source of income and employment. Over half of all produce is also sourced locally.
