Classically built log cabins, each one can sleep up to ten in four bedrooms, making them ideal for families and groups of friends. Built over two floors, they feature fully equipped kitchens, a spacious living area and large decks, complete with a jacuzzi, sauna and fabulous views over Lapporten.

The log cabins are for the independent traveller, and feature fully fitted kitchens. Close by in Björkliden, there are restaurants and bars open from breakfast through until late – a real smorgasbord of choice.

Björkliden’s reputation for extreme skiing is legendary, and with its proximity and links to Riksgränsen, a true Arctic ski adventure awaits. The top ten highest mountains in Sweden are found here, and it’s one of the best heli-skiing destinations you’ll find. The terrain is perfect for advanced skiers, but intermediates and cross country skiers will also find plenty to keep them happy. Hire a guide for the day, or an instructor to improve your technique. And end the day with a sauna and a hot tub. If you’re lucky, the Northern Lights will be your backdrop.

family

For families with older children and experienced skiers, the cabins offer independence and an experience out of the ordinary. In Björkliden there’s a free kids club – the Lämmelklubben – taking children from four to eleven. There’ s a host of activities, from ice fishing, snow sculpting and sledding. Reservation is necessary.
