Why Visit Verbier?

Swiss magic

Snow sure, world class skiing and an inimitable nightlife.

Ski area

410km of varied pistes and the gateway to the 4 Vallées, one of the largest ski areas in Switzerland, Verbier offers some of the most challenging terrain for expert skiers. An extensive lift system can get you round the mountains pretty quickly.

Pistes

The resort is famous for its off piste routes – Tortin, Mont Fort and Mont Gélé are legendary, and if you’re after powder, you’ll need to head off early. There are plenty of cruisy blues for intermediates and lots of sunny bowl skiing.

Restaurants

Verbier is now right up there with mountain restaurants. The celeb owned La Vache is a firm favourite, whilst the views and delicious Savoyard dishes at Chez Dany deserve at least one visit. Rosti lovers should book at Le Carrefour – it is incredible.

Après ski

With Verbier Ski Holidays the parties start on the slopes, and continue late into the night in the village. Dance at Ice Cube, or for a more relaxed end of the day drink, kick off your skis at Bar 1936. Farinet is the place to go for live bands, whilst Fer a Cheval has a lively scene and has the added bonus of a pizza oven. And of course, let’s not forget the Farm Club, quite possibly the most famous nightclub in the Alps.

Unique to Verbier

Stand at the top of Mont Fort and you can see across to France, Italy and the mighty Matterhorn.
