Our Guide to Tanzania

Tanzania is a remarkable destination that hits all your senses. Here you will see some of the most dramatic examples of Rift Valley scenery including; the Ngorongoro Crater; the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro; the game rich plains of the Serengeti; some unrivalled areas of wilderness, and the exotic beaches of the Zanzibar Archipelago.

Under the enormous African skies, you’ll witness seemingly infinite species of wildlife – lions on kopjes, chimps in the forests of Mahale, crocodiles and hippos in the slow-running rivers, and the savannah bursting with life as the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra travel through.

Whether you’re traveling as a family or on an adults only trip, there is no denying the magic of Tanzania, let us plan an adventure for you that you’ll never forget.

WHY WE LOVE TANZANIA

For its infusion of breathtaking landscapes; phenomenal game viewing; areas of true wilderness; wide variety of birds and animal species; blend of cultures and the incredibly warm and friendly people.

WHY WE THINK YOU MUST VISIT THIS COUNTRY?

Tanzania a classic safari destination, it really does have something for everyone. Whether you’re a first timer to Africa or a repeat Africa enthusiast; on the hunt for raw wildlife encounters; going on a family adventure or dreaming of combining a safari with an incredible beach stay…. we craft a tailor made trip just for you.

WHEN IS IT THE BEST TIME TO GO?

You can almost visit Tanzania all year round except from April and May when they have their long rains. There are wonderful experiences to enjoy throughout the year:

In January/February you can see the wildebeest and zebra dropping their young; in June/July you can see the wildebeest and zebra brave the Grumeti River Crossing; in July/ August you can witness them crossing the Mara River; in September/October you can enjoy great game viewing away from the crowds and in November/December (during their short rains season) you will benefit from less tourists and still excellent game viewing.
