Méribel Village

Guests who stay in our Méribel Village return year after year.

Half of our chalets are based in Méribel Village – a quiet spot nestled just outside the main centre of Méribel. With unbeatable access to the slopes, a superb ski route home and all amenities close to hand, we’re sure you’ll agree it's a hidden gem. This is where F&P started.

So we can safely say that we are Méribel Village specialists,  and since we know it like the back of our hand, we can give you all the insider tips. Here are just a few of the reasons why we love it so much.

  • One of the main perks of the village is the high speed Golf chairlift. Never a queue, it's twice the speed of the old one and it can bring beginners or tired skiers down from the top. The chairlift takes you from the Village right up to the Altiport and main Méribel ski area, with connecting lifts to the resorts of Courchevel and Val Thorens. At the end of the day, you can ski all the way down the ‘Lapin’ - an easy blue run to the centre of the Village and straight to your chalet. And really importantly, staying in Meribel chalets in the Village means you'll miss the queues from the centre's main lift area each morning. Bliss!
  • A regular public bus service is available to the main town centre. Public buses to and from Méribel Village to Méribel Centre operate a reliable and complimentary service and are only a two minute walk from your chalet. The bus journey takes only 3-4 minutes and leaves every 20 minutes throughout the day. For evenings out in Méribel the last bus runs until just after midnight, and taxis home are easy to find, costing around 20 Euros. If you do wish to get to the town centre then we have our minibus service on hand which is useful for those who have ski lessons starting in Méribel Centre in the mornings, and for pick-ups in the afternoon/early evening.
  • For the non-skier there is plenty to see and do, from a scenic walk from the Village to the Altiport, to simply sitting in a deckchair and relaxing in the sunshine.
  • The Village has a unique atmosphere and is self-contained with its own mini supermarket, fantastic bakery and patisserie (renowned for being best in the Three Valleys), ski shop, restaurants and a great après bar - Lodge du Village, with live bands almost every night.

In our opinion Méribel Village has something for everyone. Why would you look anywhere else?
