Ski Area

In the heart of the Arlberg ski area, skiers have over 300km of groomed pistes and 200km of off piste terrain to enjoy. A fast and efficient lift system links the villages of St Anton, Zürs, Stuben, Lech and Warth-Schröcken, whilst St Christoph is the starting point of the 85km Run of Fame circuit.

Pistes

The slopes around St Christoph are perfectly suited to beginners and intermediates, with a plentiful choice of blues and reds. Just under 20% of the runs are black, so expert skiers are well catered for too – the Valluga being one of the most challenging, and certainly one of the most well-known in the Alps with almost 1000m vertical drop and a 70% incline. There’s also plenty of off-piste skiing from the village.

Restaurants

You can’t visit St Christoph without eating at the Hospiz Alm. In fact, afficionados will often book more than once during their stay. This is rustic Alpine charm with gourmet food at its best. And the wine cellar is something else! For a panoramic terrace on the slopes, the Arlberg Thaja on run 64, just above the village, offers a delicious regional menu and a great atmosphere.

Après ski

This is the place to ski if you like a refined and sophisticated drink after a day on the slopes. On cold days, sit by a toasty fire in a cosy corner of the Hospiz Alm, and when the sun is out, then the terrace of the Arlberghöhe is an ideal spot.

Unique to St Christoph

Thanks to its privileged position in the Arlberg ski area, skiers can enjoy many of its slopes before those from the lower villages arrive.
