With the longest coastline in the world, the Rocky Mountains forging a path north to south, great lakes, boreal forests, waterfalls, glaciers and prairies, Canada has no shortage of spectacular scenery.

Train Journeys & Road Trips

The size and terrain of Canada lends itself perfectly to some of the world’s most epic journeys. Whether you travel in style by rail from coast to coast, or drive one of the countless scenic routes through the Rockies, around the lakes of Manitoba, or through Newfoundland and Labrador, you’re rewarded with memorable views and colourful experiences.

Culture

From the gold rush towns of the Yukon, to China Town in Vancouver, from the festivals of Montreal, to the citadel of Quebec City, the culture, architecture and history of Canada is as rich as it is diverse.

Wildlife

Canada’s huge variety of ecosystems have created an immensely rich biodiversity. The country is one of the best places for bear watching – from grizzlies to black bears in the forests and around the lakes, to polar bears on the northern tundra, whilst Caribou, moose and bison wander the plains. Off the west coast, pods of humpbacks and orcas come to feed, and blue whales can be spotted in Nova Scotia.

Skiing

Canada boasts one of the longest ski seasons on the planet, with resorts like Whistler, Lake Louise and Banff drawing many a seasoned skier across the Atlantic. Varying terrain, with many known for their legendary powder, and exceptional heli-skiing, make them suitable for all levels of skier.
