Villa Pilos – Corfu, Greece
Pilos is a beautifully restored villa, on a wooded hillside looking out over the hypnotic Agni Bay. It’s just a few steps down to a private jetty and a ladder into the crystalline waters of the Ionian, and just a short walk to many of the local beaches. Surrounded by terraces and an olive grove stretching down to the water, it has an air of seclusion. The infinity pool is the centrepiece, as it appears to hang off the edge of the terrace, making the most of the fabulous views.
There’s a covered terrace for dining and plenty of spaces for sunbathing and sundowners. The interiors are cool and contemporary, decorated simply in blues and whites and with comfortable furnishings. The open plan living areas open out onto the terraces, with the master bedroom on the ground floor, and three further bedrooms on the lower level.

Pilos sleeps up to eight guests in four en-suite bedrooms, two of which can be twinned. There is a Master bedroom on the ground floor and three further bedrooms on the lower level.
service & extras
Pilos comes with a local concierge service and a maid six times a week, with a midweek linen change. There’s also a gardener and someone who comes in to look after the pool. Guests can request a private chef, as well as in-villa Spa treatments. The villa has a motor launch which can be rented at an additional cost (including a skipper).

Pilos is perfect for relaxing weeks in the sun. Rent the villa motor launch for a day or two, to explore the coastline, or head inland to see the unspoilt Corfu. There are numerous excellent beachfront tavernas close by, and the pretty town of Kassiopi, with its Byzantine castle, is a short drive away.
